The Ravenna Youth Council was created in 2007 as a way to stimulate discussion, critical thinking and problem solving to address the challenges that youth encounter.
The Ravenna Youth Council aims to provide educational and leadership opportunities, instill a sense of civic responsibility, create communication between the city council and high school students and
allow city leaders to be informed on the youth perspective on an array of issues.
The goal of the Ravenna Youth Council is to provide its members valuable experience with local government, community service,planning, leadership, teamwork, responsibility, organizing, managing, professionalism and
respect.
